Elaine's Restaurant and Bar: A Classy Italian Cocktail Bar in East Setauket, NY

What an amazing experience on New Year's Eve. Enzo and Elaine are great hosts. The classy establishment welcomes you immediately as you come in. They have handbag stands on the ground so your bag doesn't, amazing touch. Decorated for the holiday, it looked so great. The food is outstanding. The service was on point, Julia was amazing. What a gem in East Setauket. The drinks are phenomenal. The salad fresh and crisp. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta is homemade and melts in your mouth. The Italian cheesecake special was a nice finishing touch with a delicious Decaf Cap. Thanks for the hospitality. Go see Enzo and Elaine and enjoy their restaurant, we did and we'll be back. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

Lovely date atmosphere based on lighting and decor. Lively atmosphere but not too loud. Food is fantastic. Classic flavors and upscale choices. Cocktails aren’t pushing the boundaries of the creative scene, but they’re the best versions of the classics. Can’t go wrong with whichever one you order.

Dining at Elaine’s was a delightful experience from start to finish. The skirt steak and broccoli rabe were exceptional, as were the Italian eggplant balls and Italian rainbow cheesecake. The atmosphere was whimsical and festive yet relaxing and classy. Enzo, the owner, visited our table and introduced himself. He obviously sets the tone as his staff was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. All around it was a magical date night. We are now hard-pressed to come up with another venue comparatively outstanding. A+

Planning a romantic dinner? This is the perfect restaurant in the Three Village/Port Jefferson area. The setting is formal but the host and wait staff treat everyone like treasured friends. The atmosphere and service are excellent. Even when the dining room is full, you’ll feel it’s just you and your guests. I’ve had several dishes including mushroom pasta, salmon, and eggplant parmigiana. All were fine. It’s the warm welcoming atmosphere that makes Elaine’s special.

Had a very enjoyable date night with my wife tonight. Atmosphere and decor were posh and relaxing, and everything was extremely clean. The food was fresh and delicious, and the cocktails very tasty. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

CANT WAIT FOR THE WEEK TO START My wife and I love this place. Our weekends usually succumb to friends houses, world travels, casinos or grandchildren duties. During the week this is our go to spot. I call it my own personal heaven. No it's not my relative or an investment I made, it's purely a romantic place to dine. We have busy lives and there is no better place than here to end the day. The greetings from the host or hostess, the smiles from th bartenders as they serve up my scotch or a new specialty martini for the day. Then the servers, all friendly and at your service. Last night a server passed my table and came back with a sharp knife. I didn't ask for one, he was just so attentive he saw a need. He wasn't even assigned to us. The food choices are varied and plentiful and they are more than happy to accommodate a request. Then the owners usually stop by to say hello and make sure you are okay or make a wine or after dinner drink selection. It's hard for me to write about a place we love for selfish reasons but they deserve to be around for a long long time. I have dined at thousands of restaurants all over the world but this, Elaine's, is our absolute happy place. The end of another busy day we are tired and maybe just want to crash on a couch but rain or shine we push ourselves to come here to feel special and alive again, sometimes multiple times a week.

This Resteraunt is an absolute five star eatery. The food is delicious and the service is better, especially Bella, we loved her. The owners came to our table and could not have been more genuine and engaging. Do’s, try the calamari and burrata!! Amazing. The only don't is delay your reservation, the atmosphere is beautiful so get in early.

Perfect place for a date night! The ambiance is cozy and intimate, and the lighting creates a very comfortable vibe. The food was outstanding, especially the chef’s specials. Excellent wine selection as well. A truly memorable evening.
